Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions are between you and The Music Loop ("we", "us", "the seller"), the operator of themusicloop.com — an online music and entertainment magazine, social network for music professionals and fans, and marketplace for sponsored articles and advertising. By using the site you contract with The Music Loop.

By accessing or continuing to use The Music Loop you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization; if you are an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

The Music Loop publishes original music and entertainment news summaries with source attribution, hosts member profiles and follower-only showcase posts, offers a browser recording studio, and sells sponsored article placements ($250 per article) and weekly advertising placements ($100 per week). We may add, change, or remove features at any time.

You must not misuse the service. This includes, without limitation:

• Using the service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, or deceptive, including spam.
• Infringing anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Uploading or linking to malware, or probing, scanning, scraping, or otherwise interfering with the security or operation of the service.
• Posting violent, hateful, harassing, or sexually exploitative content, or content that promotes self-harm.
• Reverse engineering the service, reselling or redistributing it, or circumventing technical limits such as the five-post showcase limit.

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials confidential and for all activity under your account, and for providing accurate information and keeping it up to date. You keep ownership of the content you post; you grant The Music Loop a limited, non-exclusive license to host, process, and display that content solely to operate the service. You are responsible for your posts and for having the rights to anything you upload, including music, images, and videos.

The Music Loop retains all ownership of the service and its intellectual property, including software, articles, documentation, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within these terms. If you believe content on the site infringes your rights, contact us through the site and we will review and remove infringing material; repeat infringers may lose access.

Payments are processed by Square, Inc. as our payment processor. The Music Loop is the seller for all orders; Square securely collects card and wallet payments on our hosted checkout page.

Sponsored articles are charged once per article; advertising is charged per week for the number of weeks you select. See our Refund Policy for refund terms.

Sponsored articles and ad creatives are reviewed automatically for safety before publication. We may reject or remove any placement that violates these terms; rejected placements are refunded. Sponsored content is always labeled as sponsored. Placement purchases do not guarantee any particular audience size, traffic, or sales outcome.

The service is provided "as is". We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance, and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Music Loop is not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is capped at the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. When access ends, your public profile and showcase posts may be removed; you may request an export of your content before deletion.

You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger or acquisition. We are not responsible for delays caused by events beyond our reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's jurisdiction, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction unless mandatory local law says otherwise. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
