The Milwaukee Brewers’ championship celebration took a comedy detour. According to Deadline, manager Pat Murphy and players Christian Yelich and Brice Turang made an unexpected appearance on Saturday Night Live’s “Weekend Update” following the team’s World Series victory, bringing the trophy along.
Their visit also featured a familiar face for SNL fans: former cast member Bobby Moynihan, who returned as Drunk Uncle. Pairing the newly crowned champions with his recurring character gave the segment a sports-meets-sketch-comedy twist—and put Milwaukee’s big win in the late-night spotlight.
