Weekend Update had more than one kind of unsettling material for Halloween. According to Variety, the “Saturday Night Live” segment featured Ben Marshall as Pennywise alongside jokes about President Trump’s attention to candidates’ backsides.
The political material included a jab about Vice President JD Vance supposedly being jealous that Trump had never complimented his butt. Paired with Marshall’s horror-character appearance, the segment put a seasonal cameo and political ridicule on the same bill—offering a Halloween detour without leaving Washington out of the punchlines.
