Jimmy Chin and Jim Morrison brought a mountaineering maneuver to the Sunset Strip while promoting National Geographic’s Everest: The Other Side. According to Deadline, the ski mountaineers reached the top of a 12-story building in West Hollywood on Friday evening, then successfully rappelled down its exterior.
The descent gave the documentary’s publicity push a striking visual: two mountain athletes putting their skills to work against an urban backdrop. Deadline’s report includes video of the stunt, taking the promotion beyond a conventional appearance and onto the side of a building.
