Candlebox’s Kevin Martin Shares a Glimpse of His Listening Life

Kevin Martin’s listening habits stretch beyond a single lane. In Spin’s “5 Albums I Can’t Live Without” feature, the Candlebox lead singer-songwriter describes a collection weighted toward indie, alternative and blues, with some pop in the mix. The supplied excerpt offers that snapshot of his tastes, though it stops before revealing his five album selections.

Martin also names releasing new music as something he’s looking forward to, without sharing a title, timeline or other release details in the excerpt. Currently based in Los Angeles, his ideal change of scenery is Little Cove Beach in Noosa, Australia: sunshine, a margarita and time with his wife. It’s a relaxed personal glimpse alongside his enthusiasm for getting music out into the world.
