Forrest Frank’s ‘The Jesus Generation’ Tour is getting a life beyond the stage. According to Rapzilla, a documentary centered on the tour is headed to the big screen in 2027 through a partnership with Lionsgate, and its first trailer has been released.
Rapzilla reports that the run drew the largest attendance of any Christian music tour in history. That scale gives the film a significant story to tell: a concert event that reached a record-setting audience will now make the jump from live performance to cinema.
For fans who attended—and those who missed the shows—the announcement offers a new way to connect with the tour. The source identifies 2027 as the release year but does not provide an exact opening date.
