J. Cole Recognizes DC3 in Viral Encounter

DC3 got an unexpected reminder that his music is reaching people—including one of hip-hop’s biggest names. According to Rapzilla, a viral video captures a chance meeting between the UK Christian rapper and J. Cole, who recognizes DC3 and tells him, “I’ve seen your videos.”

That brief exchange carries extra weight given DC3’s recent history. Rapzilla reports that he nearly quit music two years ago. Now, the encounter offers a striking contrast: an artist who once considered stopping is hearing firsthand that Cole has noticed his work.

The moment is recognition, not a collaboration announcement. Still, for an independent rapper building an audience, learning that your videos have traveled that far is a meaningful milestone—and a compelling reason to keep creating.
