Jay-Z gave the final stop of his Jay-Z 30 Tour a California connection. According to Rolling Stone, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre joined him onstage for a medley at the Los Angeles show, bringing two of West Coast hip-hop’s defining figures into the finale.
Too Short also stepped onstage for “Blow the Whistle,” adding a Bay Area signature to the guest lineup. Together, the appearances made the closing show a meeting point for Jay-Z and artists whose music has helped shape California rap.
