The Oasis songwriter makes an unexpected crossover into promotion alongside Sacha Baron Cohen’s comic character.
12d ago · The Music Loop Staff
Noel Gallagher and Ali G are sharing an unlikely promotional spotlight. According to Stereogum, Sacha Baron Cohen’s comic character has brought the Oasis songwriter into a movie promo—a collision of British rock celebrity and larger-than-life comedy.
The available report doesn’t identify the film or explain Gallagher’s involvement, so the setup remains the story for now. There’s no indication in the supplied information of a musical contribution; the draw is the unexpected pairing itself.
Why it matters
The promo puts Gallagher in a comedy context, giving fans a crossover to watch without signaling a new music release.
