Talking Heads Turn Their Story Into Coffee Table Book ‘New Feeling’

Talking Heads are bringing their history to the bookshelf. According to Billboard, the band is preparing New Feeling, a coffee table book covering its career, with publication slated for next May. It will be the first book authorized by all four members: David Byrne, Tina Weymouth, Chris Frantz and Jerry Harrison.

For a group whose visual identity was as distinctive as its fusion of punk, funk and art rock, the format feels fitting. The key distinction here is that shared authorization: New Feeling will offer readers a career retrospective with the approval of the entire quartet.
