Tame Impala brought a personal connection to their Like A Version appearance, choosing Seal’s “Kiss From a Rose” for a cover. According to Billboard, Kevin Parker said the Batman Forever soundtrack was the first CD he ever bought—giving the selection a link to his earliest music purchases.
The band also performed a stripped-back version of “Dracula.” Paired with the Seal cover, it made for a session built around revisiting songs: one tied to Parker’s listening history, the other presented with a leaner arrangement.
