The Afters Return With a Fresh Focus on New Day New Life

The Afters are stepping into a new chapter with New Day New Life. According to CCM Magazine, the band’s seventh studio album finds the group updating its musical approach while placing its Christian faith more firmly at the center.

For listeners who associate The Afters with the MySpace years, that return carries a welcome dose of nostalgia. But CCM Magazine’s account points toward evolution rather than a simple throwback: a more contemporary sound shaped by a clearer sense of spiritual purpose.

That balance is the story here—a familiar band moving forward without treating its past as the destination. New Day New Life gives longtime listeners a reason to reconnect and hear where that renewed focus leads.
