Saturday Night Live has The Strokes, Phoebe Bridgers and Gracie Abrams on its music radar. According to Pitchfork, all three are set to perform on the show, putting guitar-driven rock and intimate songwriting in the late-night spotlight.
The appeal is in the contrast: The Strokes’ taut rock songs, Bridgers’ emotionally detailed indie catalog and Abrams’ confessional pop offer very different possibilities for the SNL stage. The supplied report does not specify performance dates, episode pairings or song selections.
